Ovacik Gold Mine undertakes the highest standards of job safety and environment management by developing and implementing active Job Safety, Health and Environmental programs. We undertake to promote sustainable development programs for the local community in job safety and social responsibility and respectful environment.

We achieved our Health, Job Safety, Environment and Social objectives by:-

  • creating and maintaining a safe working place for better welfare of our employees,
  • providing training opportunities to develop a qualified and competent team of personnel, contractor and firms.
  • covering all aspects of designing, planning, purchasing, production, maintenance with Health, Job Safety, Environment, and Social Responsibility and Public Relations and integrating them to the Company's entire activities,
  • Implementing and maintaining a health, job safety and environment system for employees, contractors and wide range of public to identify, review and effectively control of health, job safety and environmental risks
  • setting up the standards and continuously developing opportunities,
  • participating actively in daily job safety and environment meetings where work place hazards, risks or incidents are discussed to form ideas,
  • consulting with employees and public in relation with Health, Job Safety, environment,
  • conducting regular auditing and assessment programs for development,
  • Abiding with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as a minimum standard,
  • improving to develop socio-economics of the local region,
  • providing fair and equal working atmosphere and aiming to co-exist in peaceful environment and implementing transparent policies, enhancing public relations and pursuing sustainable development.

Everyone has to:

  • receive the training provided and work in accordance with instructions given,
  • use risk analysis techniques to assess work place hazards,
  • be not engaged with any unacceptable activities in job safety and environmental hazards,
  • follow all written and taught regulations,
  • immediately report any kinds of job safety, environmental and social issues, and
  • encourage others to act in the same manner,
  • work in mutual trust confidence and respect the opinions and values of local people.
