KAYMAZ GOLD MINE

General
Kaymaz Gold Mine situated at Kaymaz village of Sivrihisar town, Province of Eskisehir includes Damdamca and Topkaya fields. Damdamca Project area, which is 2 km east of Kaymaz and 1.5km west of Karakaya villages  has ore preparation and enrichment units, waste storage facility,  open pit, waste stockpile area and auxillary unit. Topkaya Project area just 530 metre south of Karakaya village has only open pit.

Geology
Mineralization in Kaymaz region is generally  listvenite type sedimentary rocks and silicified serpentine veins formation developed in Karakaya granite contact. There are four different locations defined to be ore bed. These are; Damdamca Hill, Main Zone, Mermerlik and Kizilagil zones

Operations
Kaymaz Gold Mine was constructed and commissioned in 2011. Plant’s first designed capacity started to produce 55 tonnes/h. and by the last quarter of 2013, it has reached to 100 tonnes/h.  

Production
Open Pit
Production method at Kaymaz Gold Mine is open pit. Produced ore is fed into plant located on the mine site. Damdamca Open Pit commenced in 2011 and Karakaya pit in 2013.

Plant
Ore is processed at Kaymaz Operations with tank leach method to produce gold. Ore received from crusher is grinded in ball and rod mills and fed into leach tanks. Gold is poured once a week at the plant, which has average feeding capacity of 100 tonnes /h. Gold, is poured once a week at the plant, which has average feeding capacity of 100 tonnes /h.
